    Congratulations to Andrés Cárdenas, from the Guanghua-Kellogg EMBA Program cohort of GK05, for assuming the post of Vice Minister of International Trade of the Colombian National Government! In this new role, Andrés will take responsibility for trade-related policymaking, bilateral and multi-national negotiations, international investment and cooperation.

  • Meet Our “Future Leaders” | Bringing Positive Energy to the Greater Community

    Chenxuan Zhang (Gloria) was born and raised in Hohhot, China. She is currently an undergraduate in Business Administration at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. She has dedicated herself to improving public welfare and is actively involved in many voluntary activities that benefit disadvantaged groups both home and abroad, such as people in poverty and children who need education. She was recognized for her outstanding performance and devotion and was honored as one of Peking University’s Top Ten Volunteer Model for 2019-2020. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and studying traditional Chinese culture.

  • In remembrance of Yiran Fan: Commemorate his empowering love for academics

    Recently, a special doctoral dissertation defense was held by the University of Chicago, where late student Yiran Fan was awarded a posthumous Ph.D. An alumnus of Peking University Guanghua School of Management and an international student from China, Yiran was tragically killed in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois on January 9, 2021. However, he never really left. His academic achievements were published in the Journal of Political Economy, a top academic journal in Economics; his struggles and personal philosophies remain alive, being remembered and shared among his friends. His alma mater, Peking University Guanghua School of Management, has also committed to establish the “Yiran Alumni Scholarship”, which aims to support students who share the same passion as him.
