1.Excellent Faculty

Guanghua School of Management has more than 100 full-time faculty members by now. Among them are scholars who have been involved in economic reform and government decision-making, senior professors in academia, and young scholars who have received training overseas, loving research, and are dedicated to teaching. Meanwhile, we are proud to have adjunct professors and foreign distinguished professors who boast profound academic achievements and rich financial practical experiences.

2.International Exchanges

Guanghua School of Management has signed exchange and cooperation agreements with more than 120 top international business schools, including The Wharton School of Business, The Chicago School of Business, and The Kellogg School of Northwestern University. Located in 34 countries and regions around the world including North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, our partner schools provide lavish overseas study opportunities.

Long-term

Academic graduates can go to Harvard, Stanford, Princeton and other international top-ranking universities for academic exchange of more than half a year through the "National Construction High-level Public Graduate Program" and "Fulbright Program", cooperate with well-known professors, and complete high-quality doctoral research and thesis writing.

Short-term

Academic graduates can go to international top-ranking universities for academic exchange for 3 months or less through “The Short-term Overseas Research Project for Doctoral Students” of Peking University or the exchange program organized by the International Collaboration of Guanghua.

Others

Academic graduates can go to international top-ranking universities for academic exchange for 3 months or less through “The Short-term Overseas Research Project for Doctoral Students” of Peking University or the exchange program organized by the International Collaboration of Guanghua School of Management.

3.Research

Graduate students in GSM have published dozens of papers in Chinese and English core journals such as Journal of Econometrics, The Annals of Statistics, Journal of Marketing, Management World, Economic Research and Financial Research. Rewards received include “National Scholarship,” Development Research Center of the State Council “Development Research Award” first prize at provincial-level.  GSM graduates have also found themselves to do paper reporting or be a moderator at high-level international meetings such as American Management Society Annual Meeting, American Economic Society Annual Meeting, American Marketing Society Conference, American Accounting Society Annual Meeting.

4.Record of Placement

Over 70% graduates enter excellent universities at home and abroad, such as PKU, TH, RUC, SYSU, SIUC, Melb, UVT, SNU, UNSW and ANU. Since 2007, there have been a number of doctoral students teaching in universities such as Melbourne U, LSE, UvT, SNU, IESEG, ANU, Hitotsubashi University in the United States, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia and other countries.

5.Alumni Resources

Academic Graduate

About 40 students graduate in the academic master program every year. The abundant alumni resources are distributed in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and other major cities as well as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas regions. They play an effective role in booming industries, including finance, electronic communications, logistics etc. Alumni Affairs Center of Guanghua School of Management will organize abundant alumni activities in various regions to build communication platforms for excellent alumni.

Ph.D、iPh.D

About 50 students graduate in the doctoral program every year, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as overseas students. After years of intensive academic training, more and more alumni have won a good reputation in the academic arena of China and even the world, and are engaged in teaching and research work in internationally renowned universities and well-known institutions.
