Guanghua School of Management’s doctoral program is designed to develop young scholars with international perspectives, a sense of social responsibility and academic impact in the fields of management and economics, who are capable of conducting high-quality, scientific research.

Doctoral candidates that conduct high-quality academic research and engage with the international academic community will be provided with travel allowances to present their papers at top international conferences, such as AOM, AEA and AIB SIOP. In addition, doctoral candidates in their junior year, have the opportunity to attend a renowned institution abroad for academic exchange.

Fees and Funding

Fees:CNY32,000 each year,four years.

Funding:International students of Peking University can, before entering the university, apply for Chinese Government Scholarship, Beijing International Student Scholarship, Peking University Scholarship for International Students. After admission, there will still be opportunities to apply for Beijing International Students Scholarship and other financial aid based on academic performance and other comprehensive performances.

Career Path

Over 70% graduates enter top universities, such as PKU, TH, RUC, SYSU, SIUC, Melb, UVT, SNU, UNSW and ANU. There have been a number of doctoral students teaching in universities such as Melbourne U, LSE, UvT, SNU, IESEG, ANU, Hitotsubashi University in the United States, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia and other countries.
