Peking University, August 19, 2024: Peking University (PKU) welcomed its new cohort of first-year students to campus on Aug. 19, 2024. This academic year, the University has enrolled a total of 4,326 first-year students, including 370 international students from over 49 countries and regions.






During "Move-in Day," a student orientation event was held at PKU's Khoo Teck Puat Sports Complex. Here, incoming students registered, got to know one another, and posed for photos with the school mascots.





As they embarked on their college journey, friends, future teachers and classmates, as well as members of the PKU community—including volunteers and staff—were there to support them every step of the way.

Dear new PKUers, congratulations on beginning this exciting new chapter!
