Peking University, November 14, 2024: The 21st International Cultural Festival at Peking University has arrived with vibrant energy on November 10th 2024. Bringing together 47 countries from five continents, a crowd of over 6,000 attendees at this grand cultural event. 




Under the theme “Unity in Diversity, A Joint Journey”, the festival featured a range of activities including an international food fair, handcraft workshops, cultural games experience, and the 2024 University Chess Invitation Tournament.

The global experience kickstarts here! 

The event’s theme song “Wan Li Tong Feng” set the tone for an exciting journey through global cultures.



The first stop featured dazzling performances, followed by an exhilarating international carnival atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. 



Students from different countries delivered stunning performances and had a fantastic time on stage.





In the lively atmosphere of the booth display, attendees were energized as they moved to the rhythm of thumping drumbeats and shared laughter, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the event.



“Hey! Let's take a group photo together!” Enthusiastic voices filled the air, one after another. 




Everyone was swept up by the contagious smiles and boundless enthusiasm, like being in a sea of joy, completely surrounded by vibrant energy. 


The food carnival showcased culinary delights from across the globe, offering an immersive sensory experience. It was a true sensory delight, with tantalizing aromas filling the air and vibrant, colorful dishes representing global flavours. 

Attendees were warmly welcomed to indulge in a diverse range of culinary delight which brought people together to share the endless flavors of the world, showcasing the diversity and richness of global cuisine.



The festival featured a blend of cultures, every item revealed a legacy carried from past to present and the rich heritage. 




Games of chess, card matches, wood-carving, and jade-playing—puzzle games from all over the world joined this vibrant cultural celebration. 





Beyond friendly matches, students gathered over the booths, building bridges of cultural exchange and camaraderie.

They came from all corners of the world, speaking different languages and immersed in diverse cultures. Though strangers at first, they quickly formed warm connections—a natural familiarity emerging among them. With every shared smile and group photo, new friendships blossomed effortlessly.

This extraordinary celebration fostered a unique atmosphere of cross-cultural exchange and mutual appreciation, and offered opportunities for global exploration and dialogue. We look forward to seeing all again next year!
