Peking University's libraries consist of the main library, the Health Science Library, 39 school & department branch libraries and one depository library. Today they hold over 10 million volumes with a rapidly expanding inventory of digital resources, making their collection the largest in Asia. These materials and the experience and expertise of library staff provide strong support for the research of Peking University faculty and students, as well as that of an international community of scholars.
At the same time, more and more departmental libraries and reference rooms will join the library system.
