In September, Peking University welcomed new cohort of Guanghua MBA overseas students. Representing 16 countries and regions worldwide, our MBA overseas students come from a diverse range of industry backgrounds with rich international experiences. Some of them are ambitious entrepreneurs who look forward to starting their business in China; some of them have been women leaders in their own industry and community; some of them are active community influencers with cross cultural background... With every one of them bringing their unique culture and personality to the program, our overseas students are surrounded by the brightest business leaders from every corner of the globe and ready to embark on a life-changing journey of learning.

Guanghua Global MBA Program aims to provide our students with a diverse and culturally vibrant environment. The Guanghua Student Ambassadors community prides itself on understanding the value and cultivating an inclusive environment of different people from various races, cultures, and geographical locations. The Student Ambassador Program has been held for over 10 years. In the past ten years, we have successfully brought a diverse cohort of MBA students to support admissions recruitment and represent the program. This year 25 students from different countries and regions have applied and become the 2022 Guanghua Student Ambassadors.
Hi, I’m Tern Poh from Singapore. I was the Head of Product at AI2Labs, a tech start-up from Yoozoo Games. Before this, I held multiple roles in the AI industry with AI Singapore, from Senior AI Engineer, Principal Consultant to Associate Director. These experiences gave me insights into the AI industry ecosystem, AI product management, and AI organizational transformation. I aspire to use my expertise and make the world a better place. I hold a Master of Computing (AI) from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance & International Trading) from Singapore Management University.

My name is Zechao "Daniel" Yan. I was born and raised in Shenzhen. When I was 17 years old, I went to San Francisco for a year of high school followed by four years of undergraduate program at the Wharton School at University of Pennylvania. At Wharton, I studied Finance and Statistics with a minor in Mathematics. After getting my bachelor degree in 2018, I worked in quantitative finance in San Francisco for two years before returning to China in 2020 due to the pandemic. Since then, I have been working as an equities analyst focusing on the A-share market. I started PKU Global MBA in September 2022.

Hello, This is Hiroshi Ogawa from Japan. I majored in economics and graduated from Keio University in 2013. For my career, I joined Keyence as a sales consultant and played an integral part in corporate business, and conducted sales primarily in the automobile industry. Then, I joined Baycurrent Consulting and worked as a management consultant in the healthcare, electric components, and automobile industry since 2014. I'm very grateful to commit as a student ambassador to lead multiple activities at Guanghua.

Hi everybody! I am Jessy Wu from Vancouver, Canada. I got my bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia. I am passionate about data science, investment, AI/machine learning and entrepreneurship. Before my study at PKU, I worked as a Data Analyst at PwC and Data Manager at DB Schenker for five years, leading the data team to optimize the business operation by digitalizing the work procedures and reinventing the reporting system. Besides, I won the 1st Runner-Up of Miss Asia in Vancouver in 2019 and was honored to join the TV series, Kung Fu Season 2, produced by Warner Bros as an actress afterwards. I was also lucky enough to join the New York and Los Angeles Fashion Week as a runway model.
